    Review by hotel critic

Nestled along a quiet street, this hotel in Inverness offers a delightful blend of comfort and culinary innovation. My recent stay was marked by a spacious room that provided a much-needed sanctuary after a day of exploring. The shower was invigorating, and the bed allowed for restful slumber—a luxury I cherish when traveling solo. While I didn’t indulge in the hotel’s breakfast due to my early rise, the buzz around the dining options is worth mentioning. The Kitchen Brasserie, merely a 0.5 km stroll away, appeared inviting, and locals suggested it boasts a selection that showcases regional flavors. In contrast, I ventured to the nearby café scene where I savored rich coffee and local pastries, reminiscent of Dublin's vibrant café culture. The atmosphere within the hotel was relaxed, and the staff were attentive without being intrusive—an experience I value when seeking solitude. Despite prior mentions of potential noise, my stay remained undisturbed, thanks to my trusty earplugs. In summary, this hotel serves as an ideal launchpad for culinary enthusiasts eager to explore Inverness’s local fare while enjoying a peaceful retreat. I encourage fellow food lovers to consider this gem during their travels.
